Soft blueberries

I found this yarn on Saturday, it's blue and aqua and watery and fuzzy. I think this one is pretty much exactly what I want the cute ones to look like. Now I just have to build a good monster...

mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...

The very best buttery marshmallow ghost ever

I do believe that every single attendee of Sunday's event picked up this guy and squeaked. He has a new home, now, too!

Pink ghostie

SK's zombie

This one went to the Indie Mart and found a new home!

Devil cat monster

(I really really want a better digital camera, that can handle red things without freaking all the way out.)

I am totally besmittened with this one. The body is about the same size as an apricot, cranky teeth, and horns-or-ears. I believe I will make this one again.

A new giant fuzzy one

Here's the latest big fuzzy one. Very soft, lots of tidepool colors.

Tuesday's coming

Here is the fruit of a little bit of homework procrastination. He'll be on sale at the Indie Mart, I'm sure. Fuzzy with little bits of green, somewhat bigger than a softball...

ghostie and hmmmm

Here's a pair of new guys, both using yarn I haven't used before. The peachy rusty one is made with Crystal Palace Puffin yarn, and the green-eyed cream one is made with this strange acrylic-alpaca-wool-nylon blend yarn I found.

Made for the upcoming Indie Mart, yay!

It rarely rains in dorklandia

I've been wishing for rain all day.
What with the mild concussion, the start of school, and a fairly sudden job interview, I'm slightly overstimulated.
Also, today, I looked, and someone has registered 'dorklandia.blogspot.com', which is funny and weird at the same time. I wonder if he saw my stuff at a craft fair somewhere and decided he must live there too.
No octopix today, I'm still a bit foggy from my great big bump-on-the-head.

Maker Faire kit pix

Here are pictures of the bomb pop, popsicle, and drumstick.

Maker Faire pix

Here are some pictures from the Maker Faire this past weekend. We had a very silly time selling felt popsicle and ice cream cone kits out of my little souped up laundry cart.
The bags are full of polyfill, not cotton candy. We didn't take the pole with us on Day 2, since we'd disappointed so many kids on Saturday. Still, I think it was pretty funny, and a lot of other folks did too.
I put the bomb pop and popsicle on the back of my jacket, and think I want to decorate about a zillion more hoodies, it was so much fun and so rewarding. Simple lines can convey so much!
Other notables: I sold out of hot pink popsicle kits. I wonder if that's because I had a hot pink one on display. I really really wanted to try displaying a different color on Sunday, to see if it changed the sales, but I was pretty well worn out Saturday night. Next time. I also sold maybe two bomb pop kits the whole weekend, so let me know if you want one.
